Community Farm Shares

  • Eat ethically.  Eat in a way that supports your communities, the land, the air, the water, and all of the non-human kin we share this planet with.  Eat food that is nutrient-dense, pesticide free and grown with so much love. 

  • Order a subscription to our Farm Share to receive a curated box of the freshest vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers from the farm.

The Shares

Our Seasonal Farm Share contents differ each week depending on what is in season. Items will include a variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs, mushrooms, and sometimes even seeds, plants or other fun surprises.  ​

They contain 8-12 items and are very bountiful! You can add on things in the store to your farm share when available like herbs, flowers, and more.

We offer a limited number of shares each Season.  If you start later in the season, your subscription will be pro-rated. 

 

Here's the breakdown: ​​

​*As farmers, we plan what we are growing months to a year in advance. We have to have our seeds ready, prep the soil, and so much more. One-time boxes are more work for us because it wasn't included in our plans. The extra cost helps to cover some of our extra time and effort.  One-time shares are a good way to try out our produce boxes to see if you like it!  They are great gifts as well!

  • Cash 

    • Must be paid on Sundays 11 am - 2 pm at Community Roots Farm​

  • EBT/SNAP/CalFresh

    • We can accept SNAP/Calfresh payment for Farm Shares but you must purchase in-person.  You can come to Community Roots Farm any Sunday from 11 am - 2 pm to purchase your share subscription. Fill out  this form and we will be in touch directly to give you more information!

*Swipe Site - These are locations where you can swipe your EBT/CalFresh card to pay for your Farm Share. Swiping must be done in-person every 2 weeks (state & federal policies, not ours).
